I accidentally subscribed to Amazon Prime when I didn't want it.

I NEVER subscribed to Amazon Prime, but I spent months trying to stop them billing me on a credit card that I've never used online. After going around and around with both Amazon and the credit card involved (AMEX), both of whom agreed that the ongoing month after month charge was invalid, I finally ended up cancelling the card account.

BTW, when I went to my account at Amazon while this was going on, it prompted me to sign up for Prime, for which they'd been erroneously billing me for months. I'm about fed up with Amazon..
