It was interesting to read Paul Klemencic's ratings
on the management of ECM companies:

Message 3129935

He only gave ACTM a 3 out of a possible 10.

Perhaps Pino & Greenlaw don't care about shareholders and,
because Pino owns about 60% of ACTM, he may feel that it
is unnecessary to be responsive to all those annoying
questions from minority shareholders. [Or perhaps Greenlaw,
knowing that Pino is his major shareholder and boss, feels
this way.] I know this would be a bit perverse... traditional
theory has it that management with significant ownership will
be more responsive to shareholders and their interests because
management interests become aligned with other shareholders...
but that traditional theory looks to financial motivations
only and we are, after all, dealing with humans and the
complexities of human emotion/motivation go well beyond
financial considerations (as important as they may be).
