My Dad was a traveling salesman. In the summer, to give my Mom a break, he would bring my sister and I along. His territory was New Mexico and Trans-Pecos, so we would make two trips. Farmington was always one of the stops in the New Mexico trip. My sister and I would play in a motel pool while he made his calls, then the next day we would move on to Gallup.
