Jamming is likely out of the question as a solution. Jamming is very possible of course but it is far more likely that equipment will be deployed to try and locate the sending radio. Here is an interesting video of a drone that uses UWB. UWB is very difficult to jam. UWB Drone


For old D&D players these would seem to be like Ioun stones. I can imagine a soldier attended by three or four of these drones, each with autonomous firepower and each directed by a different machine intelligence to respond to different threats. They kind of look "sci fi theater like" tagging along behind the jeep.
