It is the expressed opinion of many Canadian citizens. That Canada should simply withdraw from tourism, restrict Canadian investments there, and advise those working in China return home for their own safety till attitude changes. Totally severing trade relations with China would be a net economic gain for Canada of over $30 Billion per year in the annual trade deficits.
