...a couple times of year we hit every town that had a doctor or a pharmacy.
i think i've lived in all 20 of them at some point in my life in NM.
but i didn't go to the doctor. both of my grandmothers were
christian scientists and i didn't have acne so i didn't try the
tetracycline either... except in the teen burgers at the A&W
drive-in.

my uncle was, for a short period, a pharma rep. for sandoz
back in the early 60's when they sold LSD to research scientists
like dr. timothy leary.

i studied street LSD and peyote extensively in college in 1968 but had
to give up the experiments in 1970 when i started flying for a living. the
flashbacks were incompatible with instrument approaches. i had to switch
back to researching the effects of falstaff on cowboys... what i've found
is that courage is the most dangerous of the many side effects.

sorry to ramble on about mice elf... lemme know if i start sounding
koan-esque and i'll stop... i'll stop!

have you lived next door in texas all your life? you look familiar. :-)
