I decided to watch the Giants and Jets in split screen today (now watching Saints and Red Zone). It was 14-0 Giants and Jets early. My friend and I were messaging all the ways we thought they'd both find a way to lose the game in tragic fashion.
The Giants were ahead the entire game until there were 55 seconds left. Eli was being praised for the best completion rate of his career. But if you've watched all his games, most of that has been two yarders to Barkley. The moment he had to throw long, and everyone knew it, INT, game over. All that being said, the Giants might be in the playoffs if their defense were any better. Ditto for the Packers.
BTW, when the Red Zone says they are "live", they are technically five seconds delayed from the network broadcast, which is typically a few seconds delayed from the radio feed. That's why you always need to adjust your prayers, rally caps, or in my case psychic powers, about ten seconds ahead of what you are seeing on the screen to truly affect the game. Consider this tip my Christmas gift to football fans.
