My favorite dish in Juarez was lamb shish-kabab. They would bring it in on a sword and set it on fire! Then they would take a big fork and push it off the sword to your plate, which was covered in rice. When I was 10 that was the most spectacular food I could imagine. It was cheap enough there that my parents would agree to buy it occasionally.
