I remember 1959 quite well. A time when I served my short stint in the army corp.

History recorded in encyclopedias are at times written as per a desired narrative. At one time official teachings were The World is Flat and there was a fear of falling off the edge if one was to venture to far out into the ocean.

Teachings are when the Pioneers settled in the west. They befriended the natives and simply protected themselves from aggression as necessary. maintain I have not found public schools teaching that Governments paid a head bounty for killing Indians One tribe to complete extinction.

When the forces killed 50 , 100 or 1000 natives as with the Nez perce. It is described as maintaining law and order as they and their counterparts invaded native territory the. Who's law ? Certainly not Native Law the original inhabitants.

But white historical documents provide that it was an Massacre by the Indians if they killed a family or two who pushed their way west confiscating traditional Indian grounds. The Indian people were not the ones who were the invaders. They were in fact simply trying to protect what they firmly believed was their own.

Nor does it teach that in the war against Chief Joseph, the Nez Perce, that Joseph surrendered when cavalry solders entered the camp when the worriers were away. And slaughtered the defenseless women, children and the aged.

Myth teaching, Diamonds are made from coal , Both coal and diamonds are formed from carbon under the surface of the Earth, which is where the myth comes from. But the carbon that forms diamonds is much more pure, and the process requires much more heat and pressure.

Or is it just a method to foster support for creating new carbon taxes on the gullible who blindly believe every thing released. That is supported by writings of paid scientific writers ?

Why are they not including the elimination of cattle ? Cows are big contributers of greenhouse gases Look it up !


So don't simply believe because some authoritarian base directed how things should be presented. These types of historical entries are usually done to serve a purpose. Keep an open mind.
