Germans were expelled from the region after World War II. Silesia is a region of central Europe primarily in Poland and partly in Czech Republic. There is a lot of coal there, the largest deposit in Europe. I think they call it "black gold" there. Needless to say, it is the most polluted region in Europe. -am P.S. He must be from Swaziland. English is one of the two official languages there.
