Allen, good explanation about the stock split. Given the alternative methods for increasing the number of shares available to them, splitting the stock was probably the best method, especially for the company. I also believe KE would not have split the stock without the backing of a very good quarter. The only thing I thought at the time and still do...why not take the more common approach to announcing a split, which is along with posting good earnings. Not only is the actual split a little strange (most companies would probably just issue more stock), but the timing was very odd. I think they created some uncertainty and since then, the stock has lost its momentum and become diseased...again. During these frustrating days, I try to focus on the company and its amazing history and enormous potential, while cursing Wall Street for their ignorance only every OTHER minute... Been there, done that, just gonna hold. Neil.
