Sig,

Thanks for having trust in my book reviews. The current chapter I'm
reading have given me new insights in the PC-market;

My conclusions;
- PC-growth will not decelarate but accelerate in the next decade(s),
- It's time for Dell to look at the consumer-market,
- I'm again a Dell-bull

I'm only looking for the right moment to step back in.

I'm still not bullish on the overall-market. But I'm not bearish
either. I don't know for the next months.

Tell your friends that they are totally wrong about the Y2k-"hype".
Bought Ordina last week. It's an IT-company focused on "body-shopping". These kind of companies are growing like hell and
will continue to do that for at least the next 5 years (we also have
the euro-conversion). Last week Cap Gemini Holland (a similar compa-
ny) released their numbers, +40%, improving margins, and an even
better outlook for the future. These companies has tripled in the
last 2 years. They are still trading about 25 to 35 1998 earnings.
So still lots of upside potential.

The government stated that they see the Y2k-problem/hype as the
number 1 thread for the dutch economy.

Next month they will start some national action to do
anything it can to solve or reduce the extreme shortage of
IT-personel. They are even thinking about changing some tax-lawes
to make it easier for retired personal to pick up their job again.

Next week ASMLF, all reports in Holland so far are quite bullish.
They expect some negative influence from delayed orders but all
stating that this will hardly have any negative influence.

Have a nice weekend, my favorite bear-hunter.

Paul
