First time on this board, and maybe I'm in the wrong place with my problem. Aim me elsewhere is that's the case.

I have, for more months than I can count, been kicked out of Netflix watching in the middle of a program. I often get stoppages (frozen screens) which may start and stop many times, sometimes continuing as if nothing happened. Other times it kicks me back to a screen asking if I want to resume watching the program.

I've also had situations where, without warning, I get kicked completely out of Netflix and back to whatever channel the TV was tuned to before going to Netflix. I have to return the TV to Netflix and sign in as a new user (which is a PIA having to put in my email address and password with the remote).

The extreme situation is having the entire system locked up and I'm totally blocked from doing anything other than to pull the plug on the TV. Of course that results in going through all the set up for the TV while it finds available channels, etc. then having to login to Netflix.

All the above only happens to me when I'm watching Netflix. Calling them has resulted in the suggestion that it's my TV set, not a Netflix problem. My TV is a Sony and is about 2-1/2 years old. When Netflix isn't involved in any way the TV never gives me a problem.

Needless to say, any suggestion for remedy will be greatly appreciated.
