Just want to thank LONGAIPN for posting the part of Gary's "chat" where he refused to answer me because of the negative things I say about him and his firm. Had I copied the whole "chat" myself I gladly would have responded to LONGAIPN's request for that part of the dialogue. Gary really dissappointed me not so much by not wanting to talk to me (that is a given) but by not taking the "high road" as most professional PR people would have done under similar circumstances. After all, what does Gary have to gain by publicly acknowledging that I , or anyone else, have a negative view of his firm in a forum that he knows will be widely circulated on the internet. All his comment did was raise a question in people's minds as to what those negative views might be. His comment also suggests a very defensive attitude which people sometimes take as an indication that there may be a grain of truth to those negative views. Simply put, it was a lose/lose situation for him to publicly say what he did. Finally, that he chose to do so suggests to me that Gary is inaware of the fact that the majority of shareholders...including many that I know who do not participate on the internet but are large holders...happen to share my "negative" views re: MILL's performance vis a vis shareholders. Ask any of the guys who are still waiting for their investor packages months after making the request. LONGAIPN seems to only appear on this board when Gary or MILL are criticized. His role seems to be to defend them when necessary and to do so by discrediting me in what are sometimes insulting terms. It's OK, I expect nothing less and can take it. That he was so anxious to get Gary's comments directed at me on this board is an indication that he does not have any more of an understanding of PR than does Gary who, by the way, pompously advised all of us to stop listening to each other's BS and just call him...for the truth, I suppose. That was another PR blunder. Keep it up Gary....surely you must know that a patronizing attitude towards shareholders does not do much for your credibility....but then you wouldn't know that would you?
Cheers...Faris
PS Fully expect Coogs, Oliv, and LONGAIPN to "lose it" over this post. If they do, it will just be one more PR blunder to add to their list. |
