I'm on record as saying that college football players are the dumbest of the dumb in sports, which I guess makes them sort of likable from an entertainment point of view. I guess you add in the officials. In the Washington St - Iowa St game, live now on ESPN, a Wash St kid had a pick-6 negated because he taunted an Iowa St player en route to the end zone. Recall this happened in the Harvard-Yale game (someone should Tweet this to the broadcast team as they couldn't ever remember that happening before, though they said this is supposed to be a point of emphasis this year). Again, watch for this on the highlights.

Then an Iowa St player had a blatant late hit out of bounds not called, followed by a makeup bogus targeting call that led to an ejection of the player, and an unsportsmanlike call on the coach after he saw the replay on the board. Then on third and goal, Wash St jumped early and scored a TD, but no procedure call was flagged, which could have led to another call on the coach for yelling at the officials.
