Microsoft needs to be split into an OS company, and AP company and a hardware company, like Bell was split.
This dangerous backing into the Palm pilot market will impinge 3Com, next we will see internet switches and routers and modems made by MSFT, unless they are not told to stand away.
Note they do not give away Office?, in fact they just increased the fees by eliminating licence classes that will force large corporations to licence all desks instead of just the average number of users per horem.

I hope the judge and his techical master give Gates a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. We do not need MSFT forcing their browser down our throat. by giving it away and making it the only entry for a number of websites, and in addition to making the use of Netscape buggy and slow by the use of undocumented calls and other stratagems.

This kind of thing makes one recall(if you are that old, or read history) the robber oil barons of the 19th century. The Gates defense that he has brought prices down for the OS is irrelevant as that is not his acquisative focus right now. Netscape and #Com are in his sights, and who else has been ground down aleady(or sold out Stacker style)
