One last modification for the day: A new tab has been created for each of the stocks listed in the RKRW sheet. These tabs contain a blend of SEC filings and company-specific news from various sources. In addition to a brief summary and link to the source, each record also has the date that the news was released, the source, and the share price and volume info for that day. The goal of these 'news sheets' was to be able to quickly relate moves in share price and volume to SEC filings and/or other news. This helps me answer the question "What happened to THAT company?", almost always months after the share price tanked or skyrocketed. None of this information has been 'curated', so there's a fair amount of regurgitated material but at least it's easy to navigate.

Here are a few things to be aware of:
  • The 'ticker tabs' should have been uploaded in alphabetical order. I don't know why some of them weren't.
  • The Google Sheets API doesn't provide much control over formatting (e.g. column widths, font sizes, etc.) and your current access settings won't allow you to change the formatting in Google. If you find the content useful, it's probably best if you just export the Google workbook to Excel and format the sheets however you like.
  • To export to Excel, (1) click on the 'File' menu item, (2) select 'Download as' and (3) chose the 'Microsoft Excel' option.
  • Keep in mind that exporting to Excel will break the linkages to Google Finance for the exported workbook, so the master 'RKRW' sheet may not be very useful in Excel format.
