I received a generic email from my Cox Cable company the other day reminding me of the many features they were providing me with. I only glanced at it but a mention of Netflix caught my eye and I went back to see what that was about. This is something I should have picked up on long ago and it would have saved me many weeks of frustration.
I can get Netflix directly from Cox and my Cox remote. After getting a little acquainted with this I quickly realized all my previous problems simply disappeared. I now get a beautiful HD picture (I just didn't realize the lesser quality of the Netflix feed in the past). The sound is much better, as well. I've watched several Netflix programs/movies since this find without a single glitch.
The navigation is different with the Cox remote and not quite as versatile. I will still set up all of "My List" and preferred watches on my computer as it's so much faster and easier. But the viewing is now an enjoyable experience.
I've been paying for this all along and just didn't realize it. All my own damn fault.

Thanks for stepping in with suggestions.
