Haven't done a real tax-loss wrap-up post for at least a couple years, and not very well for some time before that ... should really, it's something you can look back at through the year when you're wondering, wtf was i thinking to buy this pos ... lol ... most companies years ago, even little juniors [and maybe especially them] used to do annual releases, summaries of all what went on during the year, then the general plan of what they expected in the year to come ... Randy Reifel of ckg.v still does, more or less, put out an exploration update in mid-dec

... that's a rough ugly year ... the gods owe us a better one now ... but do they give us another gut-wrencher scarey-boo punch-down first, this is the question ... and rather important, for those of us who like to play on the edge with margin and short-term options at selected times ... got to be the right times, or else
Overall i'm in golds, above everything ... would be more silver if there were more plays heavy to the metal, but there aren't ... Sandstorm is centre - the common, the warrants, and a few calls for spice ... added to all long-term faves, ktn gqc svb tuo etc, even though they gave little to no opportunity to book gains on last year's buy during the season ... so those adds were tiny, most of them ... mek.v may end up being a long-term fave, got quite a few four-centers during the fall ... soj.v still looks attractive imho, will work through all its new paper in short order i think ... whole bunch of others, i ended up having more cash than planned, paid out early for a deal, so used it all, very few unfilled bids left
Big thing here though, is we have a three-month old kitten in the house ... male, unfixed, absolutely nuts and not apologising for it either ... so now there are two of us, in an otherwise female world, it's nice to have company |
