Small cap stock promoters and management issue shares, often blow the money on themselves, then do a reverse split and repeat the process all over again. So reverse splits generally have a bad name. In this case, HCL couldn't get the share price up to meet AMEX listing requirements. Obviously, they felt they couldn't wait any longer and took measures that the market may perceive as negative to gain the listing but at the same time announced major financing with a top lender to soften the blow. I still like the company but stand by my previous posting re this year's share price.
