| | | Wrong. The identity politics that Dems have perfected has divided the nation into micro groups of people who claim victim status and that it is all the fault of the white man and capitalism. That is what made people resentful. Trump capitalized on it with his instinct for what sells to people. It's the one thing he's good at. He didn't invent identity politics nor micro targeting. That was invented by Clinton and perfected by Obama.
The other problem with Democrats is that they've filled our schools and universities with hyper liberals who teach our kids in school to be angry social justice warriors and to get meaningless degrees in humanities and community organizing. Then when they get out with $100K in debt and no employable skill, because humanities and community organizing degrees are worthless, they get angry and resentful and blame capitalism. The Democrats and their liberal parents forgot to teach them the most important thing about life, which is that if you want to have a good one, then you must learn skills that employers want, so you can make some money. Since they weren't taught that, they become angry and resentful, and then politicians take advantage of that for their own purposes. So does the MSM.
So I have an idea for all of you folks. Teach your kids to earn a good living and if they go to college, make damned sure they get a degree in something useful like engineering, business, or science. Also teach them the value of hard work. People who are working hard don't have time to worry about nonsense and get resentful, because they are too busy making money and having a good life. The liberals are stealing that from their own people. That's not just sad, it's stupid. |
