This time last year, there were quite a few more investors who felt confident that they were good.

I performed the first DD for Leukosite. I was at Isis every week for their first three years. Nobody's a god. George Rathmann (a God!) invited me to interview for the first scientist position at Amgen. They wanted someone who could handle the innovative new class of molecules, murine MAbs. Thus, I would have gotten the job, had I dressed in ivy for a meet and greet. I sent my technician to the interview. Lotsa other stuff.

I've been an investor in the sector since there was one. Been at it full time, no parachute, through the various crashes since 1995. 2018 had a particular suckiness. Companies that had historically low price:book got hammered.

We made it! Congratulations. No T shirts.
