Scott, I suppose this is a way round-about way of doing this, but my program, Scammer, which is a kind of board view replacement, will convert Quotes Plus symbol lists to RT3 symbol lists. I use Quotes Plus to develop lists of trading candidates, and then load the symbols into Scammer. These files will also work with RT3 modules that use symbol lists.

I am open to suggestions for other list formats to support. And, I AM still planning on having Scammer be able to harvest symbol lists from certain web sites. (For example, all stocks discussed on the Motley Fool noon news...)

It is not difficult to write .slf files yourself. The one tricky part is that you must use a tab to separate the company name from the symbol if you enter company names. That is, each line should be:

symbol <tab> company name

(And, yes, I am going to get around to updating the symbol lists on my web site this weekend. I know I promised it to somebody in e-mail LAST weekend!)
