On a chance it's something simple...... I have two older HP Business computers running Vista 32bit Business. I have Microsoft Security Essentials running on one perfectly, autoupdates, scans, no issues. On the other machine, you get the red X's, "your operating system isn't supported anymore", MSSE is worthless, won't update. How did Microsoft cripple one of them but not the other?
