Wannabe Fool, You just demonstrated the value of this Thread! I was totally unaware of the patents. Can you explain their application?

Re Ensoniq- I think people really do not understand the value of this acquisition- this is a quick segway into the OEM market. CREAF already had access to the retail market and resellers market, the two other segments into which it sells. CREAF top line revenue segment has not grown over the last two years which is why Sim Wong Hoo took complete control and "straightened out the house", I believe. The Ensoniq acquisition is part of a planned effort to implement that growth- very wise move.

On the other hand the 3DFX deal will not out help in the short-term I believe. And that has nothng to do w/CREAF. 3DFX is simply capacity constrained (or I should say its ECM's are). In six-eight months when 3DFX brings sufficient capacity online, this area could become a growth area for CREAF too....

The "unguided missile" (and one reason I own this stock) is DVD-Rom Drives. Who knows where this will go. In any case, CREAF appears to have a sound strategy IMO, and plenty of cash to "shift gears" quickly should the Asian situation/technology changes, etc., continue to inhibit growth over a long period....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
