Thomas,
And I have no clue as to your Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rationale.
AOC's constituents voted for her because she represents someone that will fight hard for them. She represented a new face, a new voice, a new surge of energy against the oh-so-evil Donald Trump. She represented hope to leftists who think we live in very dark times thanks to Orange Man.

The problem, of course, is that she's dumber than Sarah Palin and hasn't got a clue as to how government works. But that's irrelevant when it comes to electing a personality, a fighter, an attack dog who is on your side.

It's the same way with Trump. His supporters voted for him because he represented someone who will fight hard for them. He had zero experience in government, but that was an asset in an age where the "establishment" had like a 17% approval rating. He was the new face, a new voice, a new surge of energy against the rising tide of liberalism and political correctness. He represented hope to conservatives who think we live in very dark times.

To me, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Donald Trump are two sides of the same coin.
