Aside from the pricing schedule of commission rates...

do you know how the executions are on Amex in contrast to NYSE or NASDAQ? I am wondering how their trading contacts are. For example, I've seen orders go unfilled and cancelled by other brokerages just because the orders aren't marketed out to the floor.

I'd be grateful to know what you have found.
