I got this from a bulletin board:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No Mac can run an operating system earlier than the one it shipped with. Suggest using VMware Fusion,Parallels Desktop Mac, or Virtual Box and run the earlier macOS
as a virtual machine.

Older operating systems are not compatible with newer hardware.

So if you want to stay with High Sierra, it's a good idea not to buy a new computer running Mojave.

If you installed Mojave on a computer running High Sierra, you can use Time Machine to go back to High Sierra.

It seems to me that the main reason for upgrading to Mojave is the security features. As far as ProTA 3.25 goes El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra all seem adequate.

I suggest saving a copy of ProTA 4.2992 because it has the capability to upgrade from 3.25 to 4. I am concerned that Jeff will eventually drop the upgrade code since 3.25 won't run on the new computers anyway.
