Anyway, my desperation led me to sign on to AOL, where some clown on The Motley
Fool (they're all clowns over there) has pointed out that ASND changed its earnings
announcement date to one apparently corresponding with LU's date. He further concludes
that the reason was to bundle LU/ASND's earnings announcements and the announcement
of a LU/ASND merger into one big happy love fest.

Interesting thought. I consider it unlikely and earnings would likely get lost in the shuffle. I do not know, however.
