trust you saw the ancient burial coffins on the side of the cliffs? I did the 3 gorges journey but alas, only after the dam was put up and so the route from chongqin was not as nature meant it to be - water was a few meters higher than nature intended. now am looking forward to workation / catch-up 3rd february over the Chinese lunar new year break taking the kids to visit their maternal grandparents who spend time 50/50 between Malaysia and Hong Kong shall also visit a jungle / ocean sort of place, and then 2019 / Year of the Pig (Year 4717) gets more seriously underway. I like the lunar new year routine, for it allows fixing of errors in time allocation done over the Christmas / New Year break.
