Lets be very accurate about what is being stated. Warming / Cooling trends are not being disputed. There is lots of debate where that is going, and the AGW proponents are not being very scientific about it. As Ivar Giaever says "Climate change" has become a religion, it's no longer a science. He explains why he resigned from the American Physical Society. Now you have to admit ... if he had to do that, there is something wrong somewhere.

What is up for discussion is whether human activity (burning carbon) is having effect on global temperature. The proof for that is not obvious to me in any way. The potential problem here... and its a very important one, is that resources are going to diverted and wasted following a modern version of "Tulipmania" or "South Sea Bubble". They are better utilized on very real environmental problems elsewhere. The scam artists are definitely present and some are being critical of the proceedings.

As soon as Deutsche Bank is involved... I have real concerns. Enron? oh dear. Nothing to add there.
