The new 1.33 TB ssd is small enough and cheap enough to go into higher end laptops and average priced desktops, giving them performance in a compact size computer.

WDC did not announce a 1.33TB SSD, they announced a 1.33TB NAND chip. A NAND chip is not an SSD, but rather a component of an SSD. In addition, QLC NAND is not appropriate for "performance" applications, and has poor endurance.

As usual, you completely missed my point.

I commented on the inaccuracy of your posting, which suggested an untrue outcome. Your continued snarky remarks are inappropriate on this board, and not appreciated. My recommendation would be for you to invest some time in understanding the technologies involved before commenting. An understanding of form factors, and how they apply to SSD's, would also inform your views on the subject.
