Your take of the dark truth is spot-on bullseye X

Troubling but since we can do very little about the sorry state.

Tricky, as the only way to come out with semblance of okay is to try better understanding than the next person, and occasionally pivot on that supposed understanding, w/ conviction.

In the mean time we hope the minor evilettes somehow keep the major evils in check.

What an unavoidable undertaking, explicitly played or implicitly rolled along.
