Gottfried, and Big Buck >BB. look what I found. It's dejavu all over again, just 7 months ago< I have learned to respect intellectual appraisals regarding AMAT and the semi's. However, when I look at my charts it appears that the semi sector according to the Dorsey Wright chart go from a high (70%up) to a bottom (20%down) to a high (70%up) every 8-10 months. This has been true going back to August 1995 to the current date. It appears to me that there is money to be made if we just follow the semi sector charts. Remember, the total market and sector makes up approx. 75% of a stock price. We are in the 6 month of the cycle. It will be interesting what happens ahead. I see the semi sector and AMATmoving up if the charts are correct.

Just my $.02.
