FWIW:

One thing you should consider is the Zip will be replacing...or I should say can replace the "A" drive, in that it will become a bootable drive. I'm not current on the particulars of this standard or whatever you call it.

I read Jeff's reply and do the same in regards to giving each of my kids a Zip disk. Once they started using them I noticed a lot less junk being left on the hard drive.

I'm in the process of writing the specs. for a new PC and will be getting an internal Zip drive and a DVD. A recordable CD ROM is interesting, but are limited to writing to them once, if I'm not wrong.
