Mister T.:

Concerning the cost savings moves you note -- since I'm worried about
top-line revenue growth, I was more impressed by the new sales
plan you note. Can you give any more details concerning how they've
changed the sales plan? This is the kind of information which could
really have a positive impact for the company, in my opinion.

Several other notes.

Wired Magazine has a small blurb this month from someone
projecting that NCR will have a completely person-less retail
check-out system. This was done in a "predicting the future"
article -- still, it's some ink for the company.

Regarding move to Solaris and cost savings -- with all of the work
NCR has said their doing on Solaris, is NCR able to save any money
in 1998 or 1999 by doing this?
