Chris....this thread is entertaining....thats what I use it for ....the FA info is interesting as are the people that contribute, but the charts don't care about it. I give direction to movement from TA but I stay away from exact numbers. If I said sell at 2 1/8...people would try to sell right before that to ensure they got out before everyone else sold. Do you see how this could create a problem?

Originally, I stated sometime back that I would not post numbers...I merely wanted to show people TA's capabilities. It's another weapon people can add to their arsenal to become better investors or traders. It's not hocus-pocus...it's just statistical analysis with certain identifiable patterns. But you have to ask yourself....how many people have tried to learn it?

Anyone can go to a store and look at products on a shelf...it doesn't take any discipline to do that...but what does it tell you? That it's selling in your area? Maybe...but we are talking nation wide....if it sold that well everywhere then earnings would reflect it. Am I correct in this analogy....I honestly don't know...it's logical...but is it accurate?

I joke alot about the FA people, but some of them really dig into the financials...as I do (I wasn't suppose to admit to that). No one is truely FA or TA....you try to use both to give your self a better idea of what the chances are a stock may move up or down. I merely rely heavier on TA because I've had better luck with it.

So.....if I offended anyone....I apoligize...what I thought was said in jest was obviouly taken to heart by some.

But Sye....take a prozac....most of my posts are intended for certain indivduals that have a sense of humor.....except rod of course.
