>>>Microsoft now plans to refuse technical support to any Windows NT customers who install Novell's Novell Directory Services (NDS) for NT<<<

1) Remember when Microsoft was fighting to be allowed to provide Novell services for NT, back when they were trying to enter the network server market Novell then nearly owned?

2) Remember when Microsoft started providing Novell compatibility for free, something Novell had been charging for?

3) Remember when Microsoft starting taking over the majority market share for PC network servers a few years ago?

4) See now how Novell compatibility is no longer needed - free or not, now that they have captured the majority of the market.

Does any of this seem familiar to the rest of you? It does to me.

Embrace, extend, take over, demolish.
