I know it's not your mother tongue, and that's why I feel bad about being so petty about pitty. As I have said before, I am amazed at the quality of your English, the spelling of which is capricious at best.
Since you asked, BTW, the correct phrase is mea culpa, which means "my fault" (roughly) and comes from the Latin Mass. I think the phrase from that service is "mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa -- through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault". We get our words culpable, culpability from the Latin, probably through the French (coupable.) |
