Keep in mind that when I say Trump has a high chance to get impeached, I mean in the true sense of the word. That means, the House can impeach him, but the Senate doesn't have to convict him. To be removed from office, Trump has to be both impeached and convicted. I think there is a high probability that Mueller will come out with something, the House will then impeach, but the Senate will not convict. If those first two things happen, then look out below in the stock market.
Agree with the second half of your assessment. I don't think the recent rises are bullish, though. I think they are a classic bull trap. Most signals around the world are looking ugly. So many risks in every direction, both political and economic, as well as monetary. Going long is a fool's game right now, but this must be a trader's paradise, for those that are good at it. |
