Lauren, Thanks so much for your response. It gave me some things to look for but, I'm still having the problem. I really do not think video resolution nor 256 color vs 32 bit color could have anything to do with this but I did change these settings to see if it made a difference and it did not. In other words, I am fairly certain hardware and hardware settings have no bearing(I do believe Richard is correct when he says that the SCAN would calculate the crosses accurately). It almost acts as if there is a change in the amount of information being read by MS changes as more periods are DISPLAYED on the screen. If this is true, the big question is which setting should be relied upon???

One interesting thing I have discovered is that if I drop MS's canned MACD in a window, it does not give me this problem. I suspect it is in custom indicator formulas or how MS reads them but I am not smart enough to figure this out. I am sure if others would look closely they will see some of the same; but, who knows. My computer hardware man uses me to test systems for him before he delivers them to his customer. He says that if it will stay stable under my "supervision" for a week, then the normal customer will never have a problem because I ask and EXPECT the computer to do things most people do not:-)). (Richard, remember the GPF's that I was getting with the ENSIGN software and I thought may be MY problem but ENSIGN fixed with a new release?)

Anyway, I will keep trying to find the problem (if there is one) and again thank you for your ideas!
