.... however, Irrespective of its origin, A Truism it certainly can be !!
A like minded friend recently directed me to an article he saw in that Left Wing MSM 'rag', the Washington Post, which came up with a "STATISTIC" that suited its warped outlook on "Illegal Immigrants", OR, as some would have it "Undocumented Immigrants" ....
So what this is supposed to reveal is that for every 100 000 of the population in Texas about 1950 CRIMES are committed by 'Native Born' Texans/Legal Immigrants (NB/LI) and about 700 crimes are committed by 'Undocumented Immigrants' (UI).
THEREFORE, the Washington Post "alludes", it is "nonsense" to say that UI Texans commit More Crimes than NB/LI Texans.
REALLY ??!!
Ok, so here's another side to the story ........
So ~6.1% of the Texas State population are UI's.
And for every 100 000 of the population about 700 CRIMES are committed by the 6.1% UI of the population.
Therefore about 1700 + 250 = 1950 CRIMES are committed by the other 93.9% of the Texas State population.
So about 100 000 x 6.1% = 6100 UI Texans commit about 700 crimes.
That represents 700/6100 = ~0.115 CRIMES per UI Texan.
And about 100 000 x 93.9% = 93900 NB Texans/Legal Immigrants commit about 1950 crimes.
That represents 1950/93900 = ~0.020 CRIMES per NB/LI Texans .
Soooo, if we divide 0.115/0.020 we get ---> ~5.8 !!!!
So, it seems that UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS COMMIT NEARLY 6 TIMES MORE CRIMES PER HEAD OF THE TEXAN POPULATION THAN DO THE REST OF THE TEXAN POPULATION !!!!
And if we look at HOMICIDES, By Definition one human being KILLING ANOTHER, .....
..... we see that about 3.95 + 0.50 = ~4.45 homicides are committed by NB/LI Texans and about ~2.95 homicides are committed by UI Texans per 100 000 of the Texan population.
So, similar to the above calculation ....
2.95/6100 = 0.0005 Homicides per UI Texan.
4.45/93900 = 0.000047 Homicides per NB/LI Texan.
Therefore 0.0005/0.000047 = 10.6 !!!
So, it seems that UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS COMMIT OVER 10 TIMES MORE HOMICIDES PER HEAD OF THE TEXAN POPULATION THAN DO THE REST OF THE TEXAN POPULATION !!!!
I would say that President Donald John Trump, the 45th Duly Elected President of the USA, according to the USA's Electoral laws, is VERY JUSTIFIED IN HIS CONCERNS REGARDING THE THREAT THAT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION POSES FOR HIS COUNTRY AND HIS COUNTRY'S POPULATION !!! |
