Sand Wedge, If the oil drillers and oil companies in general do well in the foreseable future due to the fact that oil reserve may have been overestimated and demand underestimated, it could possibly mean higher prices of oil to follow sometime ahead. It could take months or years from here, but there's a chance it may happen. That being the case, one can imagine that it can't hurt the ongoing negotiations with the majors either.

However, my expectation of the rise in share price and volume of AIPN short term has no direct correlation with that. That "P.S." statement in my previous post was made in anticipation of fortcoming news from AIPC. If the behaviour of the stock last Friday was any guide we can perhaps speculate that a news release is a possibility as early as this coming Tuesday.

It will be very interesting to see what happens in the next few days/weeks! We'll see!
