I look on the dilution as a royalty charged by the USA for the use of their intellectual property.

Fair enough, but royalties can be superseded by something cheaper and better. Such as bitcoin as an example. The transaction costs with US$ are too high = 2% to swap from one currency to another. Or more. Dilution is high too though it has been hidden by Made in China price cuts and the technological revolution which has enabled huge improvements and price cuts.

Or people can introduce their own national currencies.

But the US$ owners are getting carried away with their greed and hubris so the game is likely to go bust in their face.
