If rates dont go up pensions hold a lot of real estate and stocks and they will probably do OK If not the government can bail them out rather than the banks this time Any monetization can be gradual I argue there are not enough dollars in the world We will only know when we monetize debt and see what happens to inflation and GDP What if we get minimal inflation? Again the end game is inflation and all though not likely it might be 7 trillion away The last thing we should do is raise rates assuming inflation lies around the corner when we have no idea. Inflation will require consuming near 100% of global productive capacity and we are not near that
