Clouds, which are condensed water, are the most powerful absorber of IR you can think of. The presence of Water Vapour plus clouds represent over 95% of all IR absorbers in the Earths atmosphere.

and guess what... Cosmic rays correlate with cloud formation over the globe.

but that most powerful IR absorber (clouds) does not correlate with with temperature as you have very clearly stated.

Therefore Wharf Rats contention that CO2 "warms the Earth thus creating more water vapour in the atmosphere, increasing green house gases and therefore temperature" falls flat.

We "nearly stopped climate change" seemingly... according to the NYT. I bet it was the deniers who let the side down -g-
