Low cost CBD or Agropro UAB Aurora Cannabis made a horizontal move in this area last year buying up Agropro. This secured Agropro's hemp waste for processing with the intent of extracting the CBD. Extraction of CBD might be a big market for Aurora if CBD beverages take off as expected. I think all lab products will lack the specific thing that drives the sales of smoking grade cannabis, the terpenes. Any pothead can tell you what "tastes" great. Even the best pot can fail to win markets if it too harsh ie Gorilla Glue #4 is a great strain that is just very harsh so many smokers avoid it. It has the THC but it lacks the "nice" terpenes. Here is the wikileaf for that strain. They don't mention how "harsh" the smoke is but it is.
