ALERT: PM...interesting results of scan... I was in the midst of doing a very stringent scan of top potentia l earners that will be reporting in next 2 weeks.. PM came out number one on the list that generated only 12 companies. .. Again the INSIDER RANK of 75 is not the optimum I would be looking for but the rest of the scan makes up for it. The rest of the list and other important results will be posted sometime this afternoon. PM... has 160% increase in earnings this quarter (placing it in 85th percentile) with a 457% from last quarter placing it in 97th percentile of earners last quarter. I wanted an 'earner' with over 100% eps increase this quarter as well and over 50% next quarter because I don't want any news (i.e. PWAV) that this quarter or next would be a disappointment. I added 150% volume increase in last 2 days over the average 30 day volume, so I could sense any special interest in the stock in last two days and there was much interest. It's LONG TERM TECHNICAL/SHORT TERM TECHNICAL picture checked out in Metastock seems to confirm the outlook on this stock... NOTE: This is a preliminary and only 1 of 12 scans for earnings plays.. I test separately these companies for technical criteria as well and various breakouts, historical results on previous earnings announcements , etc. so please do not see this scan as being all encompassing, but just one in an arsenal of scans.
