If I had it to do over again I would spent 6 months a year traveling and do medicine 6 months a year as I would have a great life and make 70% of my income anyways as the low tax bracket would make up some of the difference (I did spend 2 months a year traveling which is some consolation) I tried to get my wife to do this 15 years ago but kids were well entrenched with school and friends and they ganged up on me and won. So now reading Ocasio's plan it took me 3 minutes to think up a strategy

First I would liquidate most of my retirement account at current tax rate. Next put kids into the underground economy. That means starting a schedule C business as the IRS itself estimates American in small businesses report only 50% of their income. On top of that Trump is giving them a 20% pass through income deduction. Why would you work for a high salary? Next I will start a business joining pairs of doctors to fill one slot so they can travel 6 months a year. As 50% of physicians disappear from the workforce salaries will go up and they should make 75% of prior income in 6 moths a year. In the lower tax bracket they may take home 85% of their salary for 50% of the work. Bring it on Ocasio!!

By the way, the story is Ocasio had her plan. She pocketed the tips the busboys and cooks at the restaurant should have gotten. I am assuming she paid no taxes on this
