Two years ago I published the article "Huawei Needs New Direction" https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/huawei-needs-new-direction-osvaldo-coelho/ The only thing Huawei did was a paliative. Huawei ended its chief executive rotation system and putting in a place a rotating chairman system but Ren Zhengfei still remaining as CEO. That can be the first step for Ren Zhengfei retirement but it made the system more complicated to outsiders as it doesn't change the views that it is still the old Huawei.
